Rector’s Anniversary –
The Rector will celebrate his 37th anniversary of his ordination to the Diaconate on Monday, December 21, 2015, being the Feast of St. Thomas, Apostle. A mass will be said that day at 6:30 p.m.
Children’s Program
Our children are being prepared and all necessary arrangements are almost in place. Now we need to fill the church so that our children can truly feel appreciated. So do invite your friends, neighbors, and family members to join us on Sunday for our Christmas Extravaganza. There will be a rehearsal for the Christmas program, Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
Christian Education Program
Come join us in the parish hall at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, as we explore together the basic tenets of our faith. The children have their own program, bring them along so Gloria Morrison and her team can teach them about God and his love.
Prayer Group Gathering
We wish to remind parishioners that our Prayer Group continues to meet every Monday evening in the DOK Chapel from 6:15 P.M. Come join those who gather every week, as they intercede for our Church, our Nation and the World.
Bible Study Program
The Bible Study Group is now meeting on Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. Do join us as we continue our study of the Acts of the Apostles.
Supplies Needed
We do need supplies for our Thursday outreach to the Homeless Community – Vienna sausages, fruits/apple sauce, crackers, juice, spoons, napkins, and bags. Do give generously.
Service of Lessons and Carols
The parish choir is hard at work preparing for the Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols. Do plan to be there and support those who give of their time in this important area of ministry in our church. It is our intention to invite the young people to do all the prescribed readings that evening. The Men’s Club will be providing refreshments following the service which begins at 7:30 p.m.
