Trip to Holy Land ~ The Episcopal Church Women of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church is sponsoring a day trip to Orlando, Florida to visit “The Holy Land Experience” Saturday, May 4, 2013.
- Luxury bus leaving St. Philip’s parking lot – (time to be announced later).
- Cost: Adults (19 and up) $90.00, Youth (6-18) $75.00, Child (3-5) $60.00.
- Deposit of $40.00 due by March 31, 2013; balance due by April 14, 2013.
- No refunds unless trip cancelled by the ECW

UBE Convocation ~ This historic gathering of Black Episcopalians is scheduled for June 30th-July 3rd right here in Jacksonville, with the opening Eucharist at St. John’s Cathedral on the evening of June 30th. We want to encourage parishioners to give their fullest support to Alma Flowers and the local planning committee. It has been decided that the Youth Night (Eucharist) will be held right here at St. Philip’s (July 1st). Kindly circle those dates on your calendar and support the committee as they raise funds to help defray the cost of this Convocation that will bring together Episcopalians from across the country, the Caribbean and as far away as the United Kingdom!
Palm Sunday ~ We will join with St. John’s Cathedral, First United Methodist, and the Salvation Army for the annual blessings and distribution of palms at Hemming Plaza on Sunday. Service time is 9:30 a.m.
