The Daughters of the King are spearheading a “Female Blessing Bag” for the homeless and under-employed ladies that attend our Wednesday luncheon. These bags will be given out for Valentine’s Day. We are asking members of our generous congregation to support this effort. We are looking for gently used pocketbooks filled with various items. These items may include the following:
Tissues, toothbrush & toothpaste, comb, lotion, granola bars, gum, band aids, hand wipes, female personal care products, small gift card to McDonalds, Starbucks, etc. and any other items that you would like to place in the bag.
You may also bring items that you would like to contribute and they will be placed in the purses. This is a great family project to help others in our community. You may bring your “Purses” each Sunday and deliver to Pam Pierce or Linda Baker. Thanks for your support!
