What is the role of a Eucharistic Visitor?

A Eucharistic Visitor is a lay person authorized to take the consecrated elements in a timely manner following a Celebration of Holy Eucharist to members of the congregation who by illness or infirmity are unable to be present at the Celebration of Holy Eucharist. All Eucharistic Visitors must be current in safeguarding requirements and approved by Bishop Jay.

If you are interested in participating in this training, please contact Bishop Jay.  A training class will be held at St. John’s Cathedral.  Please express your interest in this class by 9/25/22.
